Light remodel of a 1970’s kitchen into a quaint, super functional cottage-style kitchen. We repainted and reconfigured the existing cabinets, moving the peninsula cabinets against the wall, and creating a new custom island to anchor the supporting wall which couldn’t be removed due to structural issues. If you can’t fix it, feature it! New wood floors, butcher block countertops, classic backsplash, and lighting brought this dark and dreary kitchen into the modern era.
